'Dani Weiss' posted on the Fri 12 Nov 2004, 10:51 am no. there are free trials. for some you provide a credit card, like the block buster version of netflix, so that if you don't cancel they can charge you for the service. there are all different kinds of offers. of the three offers we tried, we cancelled two immediately and spent no money. the blockbuster service we have kept, and love. re: the ipod. i had one that i bought which broke. so i got this new one for free
