sefarim sale

yay yay to avraham getting sefarim. it seems that i'm going to start learning talmud next year (which i've never done before. previously i've had to be loud and outspoken by pulling on the most random sources of a yeshivish education that was forced to merged into bruriah and a modern world. ugh). and of course i need a brush up on hilchot shabbat as they pertain to the kitchen and such, simply because i've never ben in charge of a fully functional kitchen before. that's really cool and exciting.

so i'm v v tired (didn't sleep much last night) and v v happy and about to go nnuts preparing for this lchaim. nuts in a good way. : ) this is going to be sooooo fun, even the standing in heels for 4 hours and smiling part. hah - my father came home last night with 2 bottles of glenlivet and a trunkful of soda cases. sweet. and ari'le is coming today and bringing goodies. in the way that only ari'les can.

so that should be fun. ari's actually hoping to document much of this weekend (hee hee) and to that end is bringing a camcorder. apparently he had a feeling things would be crazy here. conversation from yesterday :
dani: so my mother hired painters, and they're redoing the interior of our house as we speak
ari: you should tell her that if she had only painted the house a few years ago, you could have gotten engaged then
dani: they told me alice (my cleaning lady) was here. they referred to her by name.
ari: what's she gonna do when i get engaged? build an addition to the house?

ra ra, family's funny. we have new pictures, we'll try to post them today. : )
