can you IM the alternative station with your requests for the evening.
can you have friends come for shabbat and randomly call your neighbors to use their bedrooms. and they tell you "come in whenever, the door's open."
did i mention that today as i was walking to the kitchen i decided to look outside and caught a cardinal flying across my yard? beautiful blur of burgundy.
