Stan's still the man

A federal judge has ordered Marvel Enterprises Inc. to pay the creator of the comic book character Spider-Man 10 percent of Marvel's profits from the "Spider-Man" movies, Marvel said on Wednesday.

although to tell the truth, if he hadn't signed those rights away a long long time before, he would have been getting a much bigger cut.  but this is a huge step in the right direction for acknowledging artists' and creators' rights.

and this is why no one signs away rights anymore.  yay for marvel getting bitch-slapped for cheating artists!!!!!
