just pee on a stick

*every* day i'm convinced that i'm pregnant.  whole multitude of reasons, of course.  today it was slight nausea and bloatedness, which are obviously the main signs.  other brilliant "symptoms" i have displayed thus far:
back pain
crankiness
sensitive chest area
a 'feeling'
more nausea

my (other newly married female) friends tell me that i'm not the only one.  suddenly we're all having late periods, weight gain, and weird cravings.

what a way to spend an evening:

Remove Overcap. Simply hold the test stick by the Thumb Grip and place
the Absorbent Tip in your urine stream for 5 seconds. Lay the test
stick down on a flat surface with the Result Window on the clear side
facing up. You may soon see a pink color moving across the Clear Top to
indicate that the test is working. Read your result at 3 minutes.
Follow the complete instructions inside box.
First Response Pregnancy Test Results
Pregnant - Two Pink Lines in the Result Window . One line may be lighter than the other.

Not Pregnant - One Pink Line in the Result Window

today i thought "if i were just pregnant, the guessing would be over..."

not all married people share these experiences, by the way AND what you'll learn in time is wait a week or two before you pee on a stick - good luck:=)

I hope that you and Avraham have your desires granted bshaya tova.
Having said that-a little humility and personal tzniut might be appropriate.I'm not talking about whether or not or where you cover your hair. I don't think that your pregnancy tests are things for blogging. R. Yehuda Hachassid banned kissing of children in schul so as not to make orphans and couples without children feel worse.
By the way Avraham teaches at MTA-would you want him to be greeted by horny MTA kids trying to figure out your calendar?
Much success and bracha to you and Avraham.

I agree with Ploni, what is between you and your husband is no one's business. It's also a HUGE Ain Hara to start telling people you are missing your period etc. Just a thought...

Maybe it's Avraham and Dani's place--and not ours--which facets of their marriage they do and don't want to keep behind closed dores.

maybe it's just funny when you and *all* of your friends think that you're pregnant *every* day, even when you have your period.
if you can't see the humor in that, please stop reading my blog.

Come on readers - obviously if dani thought that there were a logical reason for her concern she would not be sharing.
but moreover - this is dani's blog - you read what dani writes - and it's her business to decide what she writes. she has blog about much more personal things and no one has really had a problem with that.
besides - dani did not blog to rub in people's faces her potential ability to get pregnant one day in the future. she blogged to expose an absolutley hilarious phenomenon among her friends wherein everyone makes up *brilliant* reasons to justify why they just might be pregnant even if they just had their period last week and thus havent even had the opportunity to get pregnant. as usual Dani is just make fun of something stupid that she noticed. this fits in rather nicely with her usual blogging style and if you find it offensive then there are other blogs to be read - this afterall is dani's venting space.

Dani, I resent that--we're friends and I don't think I'm pregnant every day. Or any day, for that matter.

It's ok. As crazy as I am, I can't imagine being so wacked that I'd think I'm pregnant while menstruating.

my bad - i thought it was clear that this has all been in my head and i am currently very much not pregnant.
and if i were, btw, don't think i'd tell you for a good four months in. nothing personal, just that i'll want time to bond with my baby and all.

We'd know you're pregnant anyway at that point, because you'd finally not be freaking out 24/7 that you're pregnant. I'm just saying, when it happens bsh"t throw out some "OMG I think I'm pregnants" so nobody suspects.

point - in 3.5 months, you've only heard it once here.
i just wanted to talk about how funny it is that my dignity has been reduced to the stick because of my neuroses, i swear.

I always thought it was one of the greatest credits to your dignity that you know yourself so well as you do (this episode being evidence). But that's just the viewer's perspective.
